Discussion about the role of agricultural insurance and disaster risk management programs. Differences and complementaries of both approaches. Transportation, drinks, and traditional Serbian Lunch with wine tasting will be provided to all participants at no additional cost.
IMPORTANT: It is recommended to wear long sleeve clothes and comfortable shoes to walk at fields. Please consider having sunscreen and a hat for sun protection.
Participants will spend a working day in Vojvodina region of Serbia. The trip agenda includes visits to Apple/Pear Orchard (frost risks), Fruit Tree Nursery (breeding risks), Field Crops (hail risks), Storage Facility (production and management risks).
