Presentation Topic: AgroSuite – Innovative Earth Observation Solutions supporting Agricultural Insurance
Peter is a Senior Expert in Remote Sensing and GIS-based applications for Agriculture, Forestry and Environmental Monitoring, and works a Business Group Manager for Agricultural Information Systems and International Insurance at GAF. He has an excellent understanding of biodiversity principles, climate change mitigation and related policies (like European Green Deal, Paris Agreement), as well as deep knowledge of the Copernicus programme and the Space component.
Furthermore, he has longstanding professional experience in coordinating and managing large interdisciplinary and international projects. He holds an MSc in Geography from the University of Regensburg.
